Beginning Friday night, Boones Creek Road will be closed to traffic between the Interstate 26 interchange ramps until early Monday morning.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the road will be closed in the area under the interstate bridges from 10 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday.
On Monday, one lane of traffic will be open in each direction and this will be the final configuration for the project.
Businesses on either side of the interchange will be accessible.
Detour signage will be in place to direct traffic around the work zone.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.

FLORENCE, Ala. (WAFF) - A new program in the Shoals is hoping to help Florence business owners in the entertainment industry with some much needed financial assistance.
“Florence Rocks” will provide cost reimbursement grants to help professionals in the growing entertainment industry. It’s a new program funded by the CARES Act.
The Shoals area is known for its musical community and is deemed the hit recording capital of the world.

BREAUX BRIDGE â St. Martin Crime Stoppers on behalf of the Detectives with the St. Martin Parish Sheriffâs Office, is asking for the publicâs assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a late July burglary at a local restaurant.
On July 29, 2020, at approximately 3:30 a.m., two unknown male suspects forced their way into the business of Glendaâs Creole Kitchen in the 3000 block of Main Hwy., in Breaux Bridge, LA. The suspects caused property damage to a window and to other areas inside the restaurant.
At least one of the two suspects was armed with a handgun and both were wearing hoodie type sweaters with masks covering their faces.
